My provider is saying that on Blackberries you only can use the Yahoo e-mail that you pay for? What about iPhones is it the same? I am overseas, is it my provider?

Do latest iphones have blackberry fucntions. Meaning…..do they have similar email function like whichever country I go, it will be connected. If I buy iphone 4, would I be able to access my emails anywhere I go?
